How We Make Our Wedding Rings

All of the wedding rings that we sell are completely handmade to order. Hand making the rings ensures a perfect finish and gives you a truly unique ring. The processes involved in how we hand make rings can be found below:

  1. A strip of the chosen metal is rolled and drawn through formers to create the particular size and profile of the ring chosen e.g.5mm flat shape.
  2. The now profiled strip is cut into the approximate ring size for the customer.
  3. The strip is then heated in order to soften which will allow it to be shaped into a ring./span>
  4. Once cool the ring will need to be joined up, so it is soldered using a solder of the same quality as the metal used for the ring before being filed and smoothed down.
  5. The ring is then hammered into a perfectly circular shape using a ring mandrel.
  6. Small adjustments are made to the size using a ring sizer tool, which ensures a perfect fit.
  7. Finally the ring is filed and polished by hand until a bright and lustrous finish is achieved.
